GRUHPATI-GRUHMATA TRAINING CAMP |
| Under the joint auspices of Gujarat
Nai Talim Sangh and Maitri Vidyapith- Surendranagar,a training camp for the Gruhpati and Gruhmata
of the chhatralayas attached to the post basic school of Gujarat, is held every year after the
annual examinations are over in April.Every year about seventy gruhpatis and gruhmatas take
part in this camp,from Kutch,Surendranagar, Mahesana, Navasari,
Kheda,Gandhinagar,Patan,Banaskantha, Junagadh,Amreli,Bhavnagar,Sabarkantha, Ahmedabad,Surat,Rajkot
and Baroda district. |
| The backbone of a chhatralaya is
gruhpati.A gruhpati is first a teacher. A teacher teaches subjects, while a gruhpati imparts
education for life.It is the responsiblity of a gruhpati to create enthusiasm in a child to live a
better life.We are indebted to Nanabhai Bhatt that he has provided an ideal of how good a
chhatralaya could be.For the conduct of such a chhatralaya, it is very necessary that the gruhpati
or gruhmata gets good training. |
