GRUHPATI-GRUHMATA TRAINING CAMP |
Under the joint auspices
of Gujarat Nai Talim Sangh and Maitri Vidyapith-Surendranagar,a training camp for the |
| Gruhpati and Gruhmata of
the chhatralayas attached to the post basic school of Gujarat, is held every year |
| after the annual
examinations are over in April.Every year about seventy gruhpatis and gruhmatas take
part |
| in this camp,from
Kutch,Surendranagar,Mahesana,Navasari,Kheda,Gandhinagar,Patan,Banaskantha,Junagadh, |
| Amreli,Bhavnagar,Sabarkantha,Ahmedabad,Surat,Rajkot
and Baroda district. |
| The backbone of a
chhatralaya is gruhpati.A gruhpati is first a teacher. A teacher teaches subjects, while a
|
| gruhpati imparts education
for life.It is the responsiblity of a gruhpati to create enthusiasm in a child to live |
| a better life.We are
indebted to Nanabhai Bhatt that he has provided an ideal of how good a chhatralaya |
| could be. |
| For the conduct of such a
chhatralaya, it is very necessary that the gruhpati or gruhmata gets good training. |
