| Aims: |
| The aim of Maitri Vidyapith
is to develope national character and social character in man.The more it achieved, |
| the more progressive the
nation and the society will be.Imparting of education is not limited within four walls |
| or to the chalkstick and the
black-board.We aspire to produce such teachers,sanyasins of education in the |
| society and create such
atmosphere that would inculcate in them the sense of dedication and martyrdom for the |
| society and the country. |
| Maitri (friendship) is to
inculcate the qualities of compassion,love and dedication for the entire living world by |
| means of non-expectant
behavior. |
| The educational structure
create to develop the above qualities and virtues is the 'Vidyapith'. |

| Aims & Aspirations: |
| u To run educational institutions,chhatralayas and night school to
impart education from pre-primary to |
| graduation for all-round
development alongwith arts and manual work. |
| u To prepare dedicated and intelligent teachers and social workers
who are prepared to work in the so far |
| neglacted rural areas, with
a view to all-round development of the future citizens. |
| u To establish and manage medical treatment centers for the
diseased,the suffering the destitute,handicappea |
| and the aged people and to
take preventive measures for diseases. |
| u To develope the 'Bal=Bharti' activity for the development of the children. |
| u To make efforts for the social and economic development of the
socially and economically backward classes. |
| u To organise cultural programmes keeping in view our folk-culture, |
| In order to strengthen the
above aims and activities to organise youth clubs and to arrange training camps, |
| debates and lectures. |

education.Education devoid of mannual work will not |
| be education but a cruel
joke of mankind.The inherrent strength of a man does not blossom in absense of |
| manual work,it degenerates. |
| uTo ensure further develop ment of a child by replacing the
burdensome system of examination with an |
| objective and reliable
testing system. |

| We intend to
prepare such sanyasins (dedicated teachers) of education,gruhpatis(superintendents) of the |
| chhatralayas and
the Vidyapith who would be prepared to engage themselves in the development of the
society. |
